I’m Remington! (Remi for short)

For me, acting is more than a passion — it’s a heritage. I grew up in Los Angeles among generations of performers, including my great-grandparents Ozzie and Harriet Nelson.

After earning my BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch, where I studied at Playwrights Horizons and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, I trained with the late Wynn Handman and eventually discovered my greatest joy: teaching. I now teach Method Acting at The Lee Strasberg Institute, where I blend technique, mindfulness, and play to help students grow not only as artists but as whole human beings.

As a drama therapist and counselor, I work with adults on the autism spectrum and individuals navigating trauma, addiction, and PTSD. I hold a Master’s in Drama Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, and I believe creativity is one of the most powerful tools for healing and transformation.

My work — in the classroom, therapy room, and on stage — is rooted in the same mission: to help people connect deeply to themselves, their stories, and their joy.
